Easy Festive Workout Tips
Before you party:
- Get moving with a 20–30 minute session—brisk walking, light jogging, or a quick bodyweight circuit boosts energy and metabolism before every event.
- Balance calories and eat before you drink to avoid getting tipsy too quickly. Having a banana before alcohol can help reduce hangover symptoms and slow alcohol absorption.
- Hydrate and eat mindfully: Alternate water and alcohol, eat slowly, and stop when you’re comfortably full.
After-party recovery:
- Reboot your body and mind with grounding therapy: Walk barefoot on grass, add 10 minutes of yoga stretches like child’s pose, cobra, or cat-cow to recover fast and prevent hangovers.
- No time for the gym? Do squats, push-ups, lunges, and planks anywhere—these bodyweight moves burn calories.
